Street Talk is an ongoing project using magazine and visual media to capture the richness of elemental hip-hop & street cultures. Our core base is in Aotearoa NZ & we also hope to cover more stories from oceania & the rest of the world.
Hip-hop culture which was birthed in the early 70’s in the Bronx ghetto of New York City has grown to a global movement shaping popular music, dance & art cultures & transforming lives around the world.
This is not a commercial endeavor but a passion project through a community & social justice lens and hopes to eventually be a self-sustaining project.
There are also separate but related Street Talk events that are made for the community by the community.
We also welcome enquiries for any photographic/video services or project collaborations.
Peace, Love & Unity.
